Tchaikovsky, the great Russian composer, best known for his romantic symphonies and heartfelt melodies, composed this setting of the Russian Orthodox Liturgy in 1878. The City Choir continues its highly popular series of Sunday Cathedral Concerts and once again the massed voices will reverberate in the glorious acoustic of ChristChurch Cathedral.
